 DALCO OLDEST FURNACE CONTEST
Entry Rules

• Contest for owner occupied, single family homes with gas-forced warm air heating systems.
• Entrants must be 21 years of age or older and residents of Colorado.
• Entrants must be homeowners.
• Homes must be located within the DALCO service area- the Denver-Metro-Area.
• Entries must be received by January 15, 2012 at  5:00 p.m.
• Entries may be completed online at www.dalcohvac.com, emailed to brittany@dalcohvac.com , or mailed to DALCO at P.O.BOX 632254 Highlands Ranch, CO 80163.
• The existing furnace MUST be operating and providing heat to the home.
• Representatives from DALCO must be allowed access to the furnace to examine the installation and record manufacturer nameplate information (model, serial numbers, and dates).
• Winner will submit the oldest furnace according to objective information such as model & serial numbers, installation or sale paperwork provided by the homeowner and/or the best judgment of DALCO employees.
• All decisions are final.
• Winner will be selected on February 13, 2012 and will be informed prior to media announcements.
• Winner will be posted online at http://www.dalcohvac.com on February 15, 2012 by 5:00PM
• Winning entry will receive a new Trane XV80 furnace.
• Winning entry will be responsible for: Installation charges*, Permit fees, taxes, duct system modifications (if necessary), any hazardous material removal and abatement (e.g., asbestos), and any improvements needed to bring the installation in compliance with existing building and mechanical codes (any applicable costs will be discussed beforehand), electrical upgrades, and gas supply upgrades.   
• DALCO will provide the furnace, attachment of the furnace to existing or modified ductwork (the plenum), the return air drop and attachment to existing or modified ductwork, the gas flex and shut off at the furnace, a programmable thermostat and wiring thereof, connections to existing or upgraded wiring, all labor associated with the installation.
• Winning entry will agree to allow DALCO to use images and likenesses of the old and new furnaces and homeowners and the homeowners’ name in promotional material. Winner will provide DALCO with 12 months of heating bill information prior to the replacement, 12 months of heating bill information following the installation, and release DALCO to share this information and data with the public.
• Entrants will receive newsletters and other information from DALCO from time to time, but DALCO lists or customer information will NOT be shared with other companies. Entrants can remove themselves from any subscription lists at any time by notifying DALCO by mail, phone, or e-mail if their desire to be removed from any lists.
• Entrants agree to hold DALCO its owners, agents and employees harmless for any injuries, loss or damages related to the contest.
• Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
• No entry fee or purchase is required to enter.
• Employees of DALCO and their family members are not eligible.
